First defeat of Mongolian Metal against Indonesian Pelita Jaya 90-68 was the most important game of the last round. Pelita Jaya outrebounded Metal 42-23 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Pelita Jaya looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American power forward James Dickey III (208-1996, college: UNCG) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Forward Brandon Jawato (193-1993, college: Hawaii) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Devon Scott (205-1994, college: Dayton) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for Metal. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
